The Twentieth Night Prayer: It is recommended to offer an eight unit prayer with any selected Surahs.
The Twentieth Day Supplication
[duacard bismillah="yes
اَللّٰهُمَّ افْتَحْ لِي فِيْهِ اَبْوَابَ الْجِنَانِ
allahumma aftah li fihi abwaba aljinani
O Allah: on this day, (please) open for me the gates of the gardens of Paradise;
وَ اَغْلِقْ عَنِّي فِيْهِ اَبْوَابَ النِّيْرَانِ
wa aghliq `anni fihi abwaba alnnirani
And shut in my face the gates of Hellfire;
وَ وَفِّقْنِي فِيْهِ لِتِلَاوَةِ الْقُرْآنِ
wa waffiqny fihi litilawati alqur’ani
And lead me to recite the Qur'an,
يَا مُنْزِلَ السَّكِيْنَةِ فِي قُلُوْبِ الْمُؤْمِنِيْنَ
ya munzila alsskinati fi qulubi almu´minina
O He Who sends down tranquility in the hearts of the believers.
